You are a young Lord, eager to make a name for yourself.
First, you choose your homeland. From which of the Four Nations do you hail?
The windblown North is a harsh realm, a dark and barren corner of the world. The North has seen no peace for ages, but constant warfare between the clans, fuelled by blood feuds and bitter rivalries.
The East is a land shrouded in silence. A major religion, simply called “The Truth” holds sway over the lives of the people, governing their lives in every detail. Most towns are ruled by priests.
The West is a land of wide forests and fast rivers, home to many different factions who form loose and shifting alliances.
The South is a mystical land under a scorching sun, populated by proud towns under the rule of old families. Culture is diverse and sophisticated, diplomats and traders are held in higher regard than warriors.
Winning wars is not a matter of armies alone, you have to build a solid foundation first. Expand your town, get your economy running. Research new technologies to strengthen your troops and buildings.
Then, you have to find heroes to lead your armies. Expand, loot or conquer other towns.
But choose your enemies wisely, there are thousands of Lords just like you. Fight them, ignore them or join with them in a clan – the World is what you make of it.
Be strong, be clever and become the greatest King of them all.
